Chlorine Gas Detectors (Alarms) : Gas Detection Sensors : SO2 & Ammonia
For reliable gas detection, Global Treat, Inc. offers two choices of multi-sensor chlorine gas leak detector systems. Both gas alarms feature a simple modular design that can detect a variety of gasses, including chlorine, sulfur dioxide, and ammonia. The GA-170 allows the user to connect up to four sensors, while the GA-171 can connect up to two. The sensors are individually adjustable, weatherproof enclosed and can be located up to 1000 feet from the alarm module. Sensor configuration mode is entered using a password and then adjusted using push buttons. The digital alarm module is housed in a NEMA-4X enclosure and it includes both audio and visual alarms. Both gas detectors offer a front panel push button function used to acknowledge/deactivate latching alarms. The front panel display and LED's provide continuous and clear operation status.
The digital alarm module is controlled through a user-friendly interface consisting of push-buttons and an alphanumeric, backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Calibration can be performed through the push-button menu and sensors are easily changed and are replaceable.

Chlorine Span Gas Calibration Kit
Both the GA-170 and GA-171 are factory calibrated prior to shipping. However, it may be required or desired to perform span calibrations periodically over the life of the sensor.
The Calibration kit includes 5 PPM Chlorine Gas with Regulator and tubing.
External Alarm Light & Horn
The External Alarm Light & Horn is an electronic device designed to alert operators and other personnel both visually and audibly to a specific danger. It is an optional accessory for use with both the Series GA-170 and GA-171 Gas Leak Detection Equipment.
An external alarm light in combination with the audible horn is commonly used with a gas leak detector to warn of gas leaks before entering a structure or room.
